Heading South for the Weekend

02
Dec
Well, This past week I ate my fair share of turkey and stuffing and pretty much over-ate in general. I also had the pleasure of taking a road trip down ‘ole 35 to visit San Antonio for a church conference, and even got to stop off in Austin to visit the fabulous Renegade craft fair. I have been considering participating in that specific fair next fall, and wanted to check it out.

There were so many awesome vendors, including some of my favorites, Rhyno Clayworks, BDJ Craft Works, and The Burlap Bag.

It was a great experience, chatting with the vendors and purchasing a few handmade goodies of my own. The candle from Burlap Bag smells like a dream! And I love, love, love the crackled texture and awesome pale aqua of my new mini vase from Rhyno Clayworks.

The highlight of the trip (besides the AWESOME conference that we attended) was getting to stay with Joe’s cousin and his wife, Micheal and Ana Jenkinson. Ana is responsible for the beautiful photos on my banner as well as many of my product photos. She is a talented photographer and has a gift for bringing out the best in anything she photographs, including my bags!

I loved getting to discuss her photography business as well as her dreams for the future. You can see some of her lovely work at her website, anajenkinson.com. It was a fun-filled weekend, complete with lots of awesome food and coffee, a little bit of traffic, and the warm company of my family and friends.
Love,
Jo
